Trader Joe’s have so many hidden little vegan treasures! We’re always finding new ones on our daily TJ visits. We decided to share some of our favourite vegan products with you and let you in on our secret cheap grocery store favourites.
Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burgers
The best veggie burgers on the market! We don’t have the time or effort to make a gourmet meal most of the time. These are great on bread, cut up and thrown into your salad or mixed with stir fried/steamed veggies. A great source of fibre, low calorie (110 calories per patty) and easy to cook.
One of our new found favorites that we put onto almost every meal is TJ’s Goddess Dressing! We love to add it to marinara pasta sauce to give it creaminess, on our favorite salads and also as a dip for our pita chips! It derives fresh flavor from chives and parsley, creaminess from tahini and its signature tang from lemon. For $2.29 it’s every vegan’s secret weapon to making your average meal into a creaminess explosion in your mouth!
Reduced Guilt Pita Chips with Sea Salt
If you know the both of us well enough you would know we are beyond obsessed with these pita chips from TJ’s. They are just like the Stacey’s Pita Chips BUT cheaper, better for you and lower in calories. Team these babies up with your favorite garlic hummus and you’ve got yourself our favourite party…a pita chip party!
Coconut Milk Non-Dairy Ice Cream
We all have our guilty little pleasures that we hide deep in the freezer! This is what always bring us lots of comfort and love! Nothing beats Trader’s Strawberry Coconut Milk Ice Cream. It’s soy, gluten and preservative-free!
